Master Tim Simmons named as National Team Director of Point Sparring for AAU for 2026

34 members Team DSK competition team traveled to Salt Lake City, UT the first week of July to compete in the AAU Taekwondo National Championships.

Joshua, Calvin IV, Madeleine, Shelby and Michelle all receive there AAU Taekwondo Varsity Awards from AAU at the annual Gala.

Team DSK claims 52 National Champions in Forms and Point Sparring and is awarded #2 Point Sparring Team Nationally and #1 in Forms for the 3rd year in a row.

4 Members of Team DSK earn spots on AAU National Forms and Point Fighting Team. Good job Nick, Michelle, Tim C. and Jody.

Team DSK traveled to Glasgow, Scotland to compete in the Taekwondo World Championships July18-20.

Melissa Young brings home a Bronze, Madeleine Yepez secures the Silver and Michelle Yepez is awarded a Gold Medal from the World Taekwondo Director Grandmaster David Oliver for her musical traditional form. Juliet, Shelby, Ida, Calvin V, Calvin IV, Ryan, Brian, Lana, Master Tim C., Joshua and Nick all represented Team USA and Team DSK and had incredible results going against their competition from other countries. 

2025 Tri-State Invitational went off without a hitch! Madeleine Yepez wins Junior Grand Champion in Forms

September Master Tim Simmons was elected AAU National Point Sparring Director and promoted to Regional Director for D.C., Md, Va, Pa, South Jersey and Delaware representing AAU Region 2.  

October Master Tim Clifford was named AAU District Taekwondo Director for the state of West Virginia, Congratulations!

November 2 Greencastle Martial Arts Invitational Brian Houser wins 1st in Junior Black Belt Forms and Point Sparring.  Calvin Young IV wins Mens Intermediate Weapons and 3rd in Men's Forms.  Calvin Young V wins 3rd in Black Belt Forms and Point Sparring. Madeleine Yepez wins 1st in Junior Black Belt Forms and Point Sparring. Wins overall Grand Champion in Junior Black Belt Forms and Point Sparring.
